Sometimes I can’t believe how old I am getting, because geez I don’t feel as old as I am, but well I guess that’s just part of life. The Saturday before my birthday Michelle, Nate, Me, and Mike, got all dressed up and headed down to my favorite part of Baltimore, Harbor East. What a fun night of bouncing around.
Stop one, Wit and Wisdom.
Mike has a problem with the blinding phone flash and looks funny in most of the pictures:)
Some couch space opened up and we moved there to be more comfy.
From Wit and Wisdom we walked to Pazo.
Talk about washed out!
One of the best things about the night was that there was no game plan. After two bars and several drinks we all desperately needed food. A quick discussion had us walking to Flemming’s Steak House, for steaks, lobsters, shrimp, and the yummiest bread ever!
Just as we were finishing up dinner, our friends Heather and JJ stopped in to say a quick hi. It was great to catch up with them for a bit.
It was a great night out with awesome friends and I can’t wait to do it again!
When my birthday did roll around, it was a super busy day! My boss took me to lunch, Michelle picked Ethan up from school for me as he was “sick”, and I was trying to work out the details for Jax’s surgery the next day. But when the evening rolled around and everyone was standing around singing Happy Birthday, I felt exceptionally loved, and so very blessed to have such wonderful people in my life.
And as if all that wasn’t enough, Michelle, Pam and I went out for a girls night/birthday celebration later that week.
We went down to the Annapolis Town Center, enjoyed a yummy wine tasting at Bin 201, wandered around some of the shops that are way to hard to go into with kids, and finished off the night with our favorite Sushi!
It really was a great birthday and I would like to thank EVERYONE for making me feel so loved and special during this busy time of year!
