Now that Ethan is back in school Jax and I enjoy what he calls “Mama Days” on Monday and Fridays. I can’t believe this is his last year home with me:(
I try and spend a good part of the day doing things he enjoys and do my best to limit errands and shopping of any kind, which he hates! On Monday’s he takes gymnastics and is loving the new gym we are using. We also do fun little projects like the necklace we picked out to make after we bought Ethan’s boy scout uniform.
He loves games, I mean LOVES games and some mornings we will play 4 to 5 different games, and usually more than once.
Jax loves to learn so we also go over his site words, work on handwriting, and do a bit of math.
He’s my little chef and while he has a very limited palette. Last week he made his own lunch:)
He spread the peanut butter on the whole wheat roll up.
He then individually, and very carefully I might add, place every single chocolate chip on the peanut butter
He rolled it up.
With style of course!
I did cut up his requested kiwi while he grabbed a cheese stick
And as a last minute addition he grabbed a yogurt! And Viola! LUNCH by Jax!
Jax is a big helper and I know I will miss my little side kick next year when he goes to school. This past Monday, we did some work on the garden together trimming the rosebushes, picking out some fall plants and planting the new ones. The garden is all ready for fall and we were so proud of all our hard work! I just love how he is with me on every step and usually very eager to help. Mama Days are our favorite days of the week!
