We were all a little upset when we woke up Friday morning (our last day) with Tropical Storm Bonnie headed our way. Jupiter was never in the path, but we were expected to get some heavy rain bands and severe winds. When we first stepped outside we were greeted by a beautiful stormy sky complete with a rainbow. While it looked dark and stormy it was not actually raining so Mom and I decided to head out and check out the beach conditions, and I wanted to get some pictures. Almost the entire trip I was having a problem with my lens fogging up from the change in temperature. It was super annoying as it gave many of my pictures a foggy appearance.
It was a beautiful morning on the beach despite the impending storm, what the camera could not capture was the wind! it was sooo windy!
We decided since it was not actually raining that we could head to the beach to make the best of our last morning.
The red flag was waving and there was no life guard.
But no lifeguard and a rough surf is not enough to stop my kids. They were thrilled to run around and play
I have so many pictures from this morning because even though we were only there an hour or so the sky kept changing so dramatically
My boys:)
This is my favorite picture! The sky looks painted and the boys were running around in circles just as happy as can be.
But very quickly the sky went from sunny and blue, to dark and stormy and this happened in literally less than 5 minutes
While the kids were rinsing off we heard this odd siren sound and we ran back to the beach to see if there was a water spout. There wasn’t thank goodness, but it did start to pour and we ran to the car.
The kids loved the outdoor shower and if you notice Jax has a mouthful, I was not too happy about it.
It was an unforgettable morning and the sky and water were too amazing to even put into words.
