Our weeks have been jammed pack with fun nights out, sports, birthday parties, showers etc… but some of the inbetween includes other enjoyable things like…
Snuggling together on the couch.

Trying out the headbands Uncle Jimmy picked up for the boys while in Japan.

Family dinners out

Ethan putting himself in a cage at the Cub Scout Blue and Gold Dinner. Can I order one of these for the house?

Our favorite “gurl” Florence

Much needed special time with girlfriends.

Lacrosse practices 3x a week!

Ethan’s team is much bigger than last year and there is a big age gap, but he is loving it! I just wish the weather would hurry up and warm up!

Mike is the head coach for Jax’s t-ball team, while we still have a few weeks before that starts Mike has been outside practicing with Jax, getting him all ready. He even bought a large bucket and a ton of balls! Watch Out T-ball here comes Coach Mike!

Jax enjoyed celebrating Dr. Suess’s Birthday.

And reading the bedtime story to Daddy, instead of the other way around.

During our un-snow day we enjoyed a few building projects.
I have now completed the ghost train, which is totally awesome by the way.

Ethan built a bird feeder to complete a cub scout requirement.

We enjoyed a great night (sweats, slippers, pj’s and all) with our friends celebrating Rachael’s birthday as a group.

And then as if we had not had enough fun, we hit the road Saturday morning for a quick family getaway to the kids favorite place, Great Wolf Lodge! If you have never heard of it, it’s a big indoor water park, that happens to be my boys favorite place on earth.
The weekend was absolutely awesome!
We have a tradition of taking family shots every day we are there, so below are the awkward, but fun family pictures.
I think Jax was trying to show off his wolf ring otherwise I have no idea why his hand is up like that.

Ready to hit the water slides, day two!

And us in our more natural state:)

I feel like our lives are a whirlwind of activity and when I do have a moment or two, this quote pretty much sums up my thoughts.

It’s been a great couple of weeks and there is more fun lined up!
